The engineer will work with commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf components to build complete solutions and travel to Lockheed Martin and customer sites as needed.\r\nResponsibilities Support multiple MIC2 Line of Business (LOB) programs\r\nDesign, code, test, and integrate software for PaaS and cyber solutions\r\nDevelop new applications and integrate COTS and GOTS software into full solutions\r\nTravel between Lockheed Martin sites and customer sites\r\nBasic Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent\r\nMinimum of 2 years' experience in full software development life-cycle tasks\r\nProficient in high-order programming languages such as Java and/or C++\r\nExperience in software design and deployment on Linux platforms\r\nAbility to modify existing software to integrate with larger systems\r\nExperience with system and software testing and troubleshooting software anomalies\r\nFlexibility to support off-hour test events and occasional travel\r\nU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance\r\nDesired Skills Agile development framework and tools, such as JIRA\r\nDevSecOps tools and platforms, such as GitLab\r\nContinuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing technologies, e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Robot\r\nConfiguration management and repository tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Artifactory\r\nContainerized application deployment, scaling, and management using Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, or Podman\r\nCybersecurity capabilities development and system hardening\r\nSysML/UML design\r\nSecurity Clearance This position requires a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level and U.S. citizenship.\r\nBenefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, and Holidays.
