You’ll contribute to maintaining high standards of product quality by identifying nonconformances, communicating results, and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing principles.\nThis is a day shift position, Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.\nAs a Quality Technician, a typical day might include the following:\nProvide technical support to internal/external customers and clarify product or material quality requirements.\nInspect material or products according to technical requirements and quality standards, utilizing measurement and inspection equipment.\nConduct material testing in alignment with industry standards and under the guidance of an experienced technician or engineer/scientist.\nTroubleshoot and characterize electrical and mechanical components under the guidance of an experienced technician or engineer/scientist.\nIdentify, contain, or evaluate nonconforming materials, parts, or products.\nParticipate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues.\nCommunicate quality results with stakeholders.\nFollow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.\nThis job might be for you if:\nYou have 2-year technical degree, technical certification, or equivalent training combined with relevant work experience\nYou have 1+ year of experience in electronics, materials quality, or manufacturing\nYou have knowledge of inspection techniques and measuring instruments\nYou have the ability to monitor and maintain calibration of tools and test equipment\nYou have the ability to maintain high standards for inspection and documentation\nYou have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptability requirements\nYou have the experience with common computer and manufacturing applications\nYou have effective written, documentation, and communication skills\nYou have the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nYou have the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTwo-year STEM degree\nExperience with quality tools and techniques\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow\nKnowledge of sheet metal, printed wiring boards, adhesives, and plastic components\nKnowledge of industry standards and SEL Engineering Requirements\nKnowledge of ISO 9001\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift 40 lbs\nAbility to sit or stand for at least 8 hours\nAbility to pull weight from high/low places\nAbility to differentiate color\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks\nPullman, WA- This position is located in Pullman, WA.
