You will play a crucial role in supporting the eMedNY Systems Integration Team, you will be trusted to have an understanding of software integration testing best practices, experience with manual testing tools and have knowledge of health care claims processing.\n\nWe are looking for a qualified candidate who has a passion for quality to help ensure the systemic integrity of NYS MMIS. Experience with a MMIS, mainframe technologies such as the COBOL programming language and CICS, testing web-based user interface applications, and APIs/Web services are highly desired. Our offices are located at Corporate Woods in Albany, NY.\n\nHOW A TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:\n\nAttend functional requirements definition and project design meetings as requested\nProvide effort and duration estimates associated with the testing phase of the SDLC\nDesign and develop integration test plans and identify regression test scenarios\nExecute test cases and scenarios associated with integrating test plans for complex applications and processes\nCapture integration test results and generate test results documentation\nProvide and review test results documentation with the customer and other stakeholders\nWork collaboratively with Test Automation Engineers and other Integration Test team members\nActively participate in project and team meetings\nAdhere to program testing standards associated with the creation and publication of testing artifacts and related documentation\nStay abreast of industry testing trends, and remain current with industry standards and best practices\nAssist in production and other support activities, and ad hoc testing activities that may arise\nPerform research activities as assigned\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT.
