Human Resources Manager Biddeford and Dayton School Departments are seeking a Human Resources Manager. You can work anywhere! This position supports Biddeford and Dayton School Departments & Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative, which includes approximately 700+ employees. Year-round position.Brief Job Duties:Develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies, programs, and activitiesLead recruitment, selection, and orientation processesCreate short and long-range HR planning strategiesServe as Affirmative Action Officer and Title IX CoordinatorEnsure compliance with federal and state employment lawsManage all leave of absences, including FMLA, ADA, and PFMLOversee comprehensive benefits administration (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, COBRA)Manage Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) and 403b/457 plansManage Workers' Compensation and Risk Management programsLead the Safety CommitteeRepresent the district at hearings and legal proceedings as neededManage Information Systems for employee dataCertification/License: Professional HR certification and school experience are highly valued such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP. Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in management role. Live and Work in the Biddeford, Maine Community. Located along the Atlantic coastline with miles of beaches. Views of the Saco River to its west. Less than 20 minutes south of the Greater Portland Area. It is less than two hours north of Boston. Home to a growing population of diverse residents.
