This role oversees subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout all phases of street lighting installation, maintenance, upgrade, and LED conversion projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProject Management\n\nManage street lighting asset management programs from initiation through project closeout.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.\nCoordinate capital improvement and LED conversion projects.\nMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions to ensure performance objectives are met.\nLead project meetings and provide status updates to senior leadership.\n\nAsset Management\n\nOversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive streetlight asset inventories.\nManage asset lifecycle planning, condition assessments, and replacement programs.\nUtilize GIS, CMMS, and asset management software to track asset performance and maintenance history.\nAnalyze asset data to identify trends, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve operational efficiency.\nDevelop long-term asset management plans and capital replacement forecasts.\n\nOperations and Maintenance Oversight\n\nManage routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.\nEnsure service requests, work-orders, and emergency repairs are addressed within contractual response times.\nMonitor contractor and field crew performance against established service level agreements (SLAs).\nConduct field inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance standards.\nSupport emergency response efforts during storms, outages, and infrastructure incidents.\n\nFinancial Management\n\nTrack project costs, expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance.\nReview contractor invoices, change orders, and project expenditures.\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.\nEnsure accurate billing and financial reporting.\n\nStakeholder Relations\n\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.\nPresent project updates, performance reports, and asset management strategies to leadership.\nCoordinate with subcontractors and team members to ensure alignment with strategic project execution.\n\nSafety and Compliance\n\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and EQUANS safety requirements.\nEnsure maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.\nSupport safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.\nMaintain compliance with environmental and permitting requirements related to street lighting infrastructure.\n\nRequirements / Qualification\n\nIs authorized to work in the US;\nIs qualified to pass a background check\nStrong understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle planning.\nKnowledge of street lighting infrastructure, LED lighting systems, controls, and electrical distribution systems.\nExperience with GIS, CMMS, and asset management platforms.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.\nCombination of office and field environments.\nRegular travel to project sites.\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience\nValuable experience in Scheduling and workforce planning is considered an asset.\nConstruction Management, Project Management, Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred..\nMinimum 3 years of project management experience in infrastructure, utilities, transportation, public works, lighting systems, or asset management.\nExperience in managing municipal or public-sector contracts preferred.\nExperience with street lighting systems, electrical infrastructure, or smart city technologies preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and client relationships.\n\nSkills\n\nStrong financial management and budget forecasting skills.\nExcellent leadership and team management abilities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret contracts, specifications, and technical documents.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.\nAbility to perform field inspections in varying weather conditions.\nAbility to deal effectively with peers, client representatives and the public.\nUnderstands and
