Our greatest sense of satisfaction is our employee retention; with 80% of the staff employed for more than 5 years.\nQualifications\nPerforms basic mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies.\nReads and interprets work instructions & parts lists.\nGathers parts, subassemblies, tools, & materials as needed to build products\nOperates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.\nReads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.\nInteracts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor.\nPerforms standard testing and minor troubleshooting.\nEnsures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nAttendance is an essential duty of the position.\nPay: $16.50 per hour\nMonday-Friday 8AM-5PM (8am or 8:30am start time) 1 hour lunch 2 fifteen-minute breaks\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to read and interpret written information and follow directions.\nBasic mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic and repetitive assembly operations as required.\nGeneral knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.\nStrong attention to detail, quality-focused, and willing to learn.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints desired.\nWork Experience:\n1 + years of related experience working in a manufacturing or other hands-on environment. (preferred but not required)\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.\nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. alone.\nAbility to move arms, hands, and fingers.\nRequired to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks. (Small cables and boards)\nAbility to stand/sit for sustained periods of time.\nDress code: Attire appropriate in projecting a professional image while working within a warehouse in Phoenix, AZ. Fridays are \"Casual Friday\".\nBenefits: Group medical, dental, life and vision available.
