{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ba34d1b39207b44d16b6efda","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ba34d1b39207b44d16b6efda","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ba34d1b39207b44d16b6efda","title":"Data Warehouse Developer","description":"Encore Technologies is hiring a Data warehouse Developer for our direct client requirement.\nJob Title: Data warehouse Developer\nLocation: Onsite in Louisville, KY\nPosition type: Direct hire\nJob Details\nJob Details\nDescription\nYou will be a great fit for this role if:\nYou are highly proficient with SQL and enjoy using it to solve complex logic problems\nYou want to continue learning new skills and methodologies to become a better developer\nYou enjoy helping others and get a thrill from others gaining insight based on your work\nYou pay attention to details but also understand how your work fits into the larger picture\nYou are willing to embrace Agile principles and practices\nYou enjoy a fast-paced business atmosphere with co-workers that are committed, focused, open, and driven towards success\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild and maintain ETL and Data Warehouse objects.\nParticipate in the transition from on-prem databases to cloud based solutions.\nSupport legacy products based on the SQL BI Stack, Transactional Replication, MicroStrategy’s semantic model, and scripts written in Powershell etc.\nContribute to the design and optimization of our data layer as the company’s single layer of the truth\nTranslate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications and data models\nContribute to our ETL framework by learning our current capabilities and leveraging your unique insights and experience\nRequired Qualifications:\nFour years of experience working with data warehouses\nThree years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining normalized, operational data store, and dimensionally modeled database systems.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related discipline\nStrong experience using SQL including complex stored procedures, common table expressions, analytic functions, query optimization, and indexing\nWorking knowledge of data management and data warehousing technologies related to data modeling, database administration and performance tuning, archiving and disaster recovery\nExperience building solutions with object oriented languages\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience working with low-latency data systems (stream processing, CDC, etc.)\nExperience using agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs\nExperience with Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy preferred)\nExperience working with multi-terabyte data sets\nExperience designing and building enterprise conceptual or logical data models\nAbility to effectively communicate at different levels in and across the organization and to articulate to non-technical audiences the advantages and disadvantages of using various technologies and standards\nEncore Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
