Building Maintenance Technician

Our company is growing and we need a maintenance professional who either has the know-how to keep our facilities and equipment in top shape or is excited to learn. You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly Responsibilities: Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made Shows up on time and prepared for scheduled shifts; Be enthusiastic about work and work well with other associates Creates a welcoming environment for guests and solves guest concerns promptly Support the Maintenance Engineer and handle additional requests as assigned Qualifications: Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures, or be willing to learn Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems or be willing to learn About Company Retreat Hotels and Resorts turns striking visions into reality by developing, owning, and operating hotels and resort communities.
