Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.\n\nThe Program Director serves as the primary point of contract for the Sponsor's Contract Officer Technical Representative (COTR), Praxis/GDIT contract management, financial support personnel, security, management, and others in regard to program needs and coordination. The Program Director manages the daily operations of the program with ultimate responsibility for satisfying all contractual requirements, reporting on progress, managing team personnel, managing risks, and staying within allocated budgets. The primary work location is near Dulles Airport. Standard work-week with reasonable flexibility of hours within each two-week work period. No call-in or pager support required, but occasional after normal hours work to support the team in pushing updates to the production system.\n\nWhat You’ll Need To Succeed\n\nSecurity clearance level: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph required\n\nUS citizenship required\n\nExperience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience managing small to mid-size programs. Working knowledge of the Sponsor's IT requirements, processes, and user environment. Experience controlling resources and funds using priority-based tasking to meet obligations in a resource-constrained environment.\n\nEducation: Degree in an Information Technology or Engineering discipline.\n\nProgram Specific Duties\n\nEnsuring the program is appropriately staffed with qualified personnel.\n\nEnsuring the preparation and delivery of all reports in a timely manner according to defined schedules.\n\nEnsuring personnel are up to date with customer and GDIT training requirements, program needs, and anticipating future training needs.\n\nResource management and cost management.\n\nPreparing necessary documents for clearance and security requirements and reports.\n\nDetecting and managing performance issues and concerns quickly.\n\nResponding to customer requirements and Requests For Information.\n\nPreparing agendas, metrics, progress report, risks, issues, and other information needed for biweekly meetings with the program's user group.\n\nPreparing agendas, issues, and other information needed for biweekly meetings with the Sponsor's High-Performance Computing technical team.\n\nMaintaining appropriate documentation in the program information database within Confluence.\n\nSupporting biweekly Sprint planning and retrospective meetings as well as monitoring Jira tickets and schedules.\n\nUpdating, as needed, the Risk Register, Program Management Plan, and other documents.\n\nMonitoring Quality Assurance and addressing issues.\n\nSupporting A&A activities and actions.
