Apply online today!\nSummary: The Traveling Multi-Trade Carpenter is a highly skilled craft professional responsible for performing a wide range of interior construction activities on tenant improvement, renovation, retail refresh, and light industrial projects throughout the United States. This is a travel-intensive role requiring deployment to project locations nationwide in support of Sevan's self-perform operations. Working under the direction of a Foreman and/or Superintendent, this role performs framing, drywall, ceilings, doors, hardware, finish carpentry, flooring preparation, punch work, and other non-licensed interior construction activities.\nTravel Requirements:\nExtensive nationwide travel is required.\nEmployees should expect to travel to project locations for extended periods based on business needs.\nCompany-paid lodging, travel accommodations, and applicable per diem are provided in accordance with company policy.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRead and interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine project requirements.\nTake measurements and calculate material quantities required for installation.\nPerform metal stud framing, backing installation, and layout for interior construction projects.\nInstall gypsum board systems, including drywall hanging, patching, and basic finishing activities.\nInstall doors, frames, hardware, accessories, and related interior components.\nInstall and modify acoustical ceiling systems (ACT).\nPerform finish carpentry and trim installation, including base, casing, millwork, and miscellaneous specialties.\nPerform flooring preparation activities, including patching, leveling, grinding, underlayment installation, and surface preparation.\nPerform or support tile installation activities based on project requirements.\nComplete punch list items and assist with project closeout activities.\nPerform selective demolition and removal of existing materials as required.\nLoad, unload, transport, and stage materials and equipment.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nExecute assigned work activities under the direction of the Foreman and coordinate effectively with project team members.\nPerform work with minimal supervision and support the development of less experienced craft employees.\nTravel to project locations as required.\nParticipate in safety meetings, training, and company safety initiatives.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nSuccessful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.\nThree (3) or more years of commercial construction, tenant improvement, interior renovation, retail, hospitality, industrial, or related construction experience preferred.\nExperience performing multiple interior construction disciplines, including metal stud framing, drywall installation, acoustical ceilings (ACT), doors/frames/hardware, finish carpentry, flooring preparation, and punch list activities.\nExperience performing selective demolition, material handling, and project closeout activities.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related construction documents.\nCompetent use of hand tools, power tools, equipment, and measuring devices commonly used in commercial construction.\nExperience working on occupied facilities, renovation projects, or active construction environments preferred.\nOSHA 10 certification required or ability to obtain; OSHA 30 preferred.\nAbility and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.\nWhy Join Sevan?\nCompany-paid travel\nCompany-paid lodging\nPer diem while traveling\nOpportunity for overtime\nAdvancement into Foreman and Superintendent roles\nYear-round nationwide work\nHigh-quality tools and equipment\nTraining and career development\nSevan Multi-Site Solutions is a veteran-owned business that provides construction, program management, real estate & site development, and architecture & engineering services for restaurant, grocery, fuel and convenience store, retail, and government sectors nationwide.
