If you want to work deeply on hard problems, see your work ship to production quickly, and influence how AI safety is actually built - you're the one we need.What you'll doOwn White Circle's developer relations: how engineers and AI researchers discover, understand, and adopt what we buildLead technical launches for open-source releases and developer tools, like our Halo framework, from narrative and demos through to launch dayWrite and publish technical content: blog posts, tutorials, walkthroughs, demos, and threads on X and LinkedInOrganise and run hackathons, meetups, and technical events, mainly in SF and New YorkBuild and grow a technical community around our open-source work and platformSet up and run technical partnerships and collaborations with AI labs, dev tools companies, and research teamsGive technical input to promo and product videos, working with our design and creative team on productionTrack what's working (signups, repo stars, views, event turnout, hiring pipeline) and double down on itWe're looking for someone whoHas a strong technical background as a software engineer, ML engineer, or researcherHas worked at a technical product company, ideally in dev tools, infrastructure, databases, or AIHas organised hackathons, meetups, or technical events, and can show how they went (turnout, signups, what came out of them)Has an engaged following among engineers and/or AI researchers on X, LinkedIn, GitHub, or elsewhereKnows the AI tooling landscape well: coding agents, eval frameworks, open-source models, and who is building whatCan take a complex technical topic and make it compelling for a developer audience without dumbing it downThrives with ownership and moves fast without waiting for directionIs based in the US, or able to work US hours.
