This will involve arranging LCL, FCL and air shipments as well as managing transactions and tasks to reduce total transportation costs and meet government requirements. This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nManage export transactions for projects\nReceive, review, process international shipments and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete\nManage the freight quote process\nWork with freight forwarders to provide timely, accurate and competitive quotes\nOrganize and file customs commercial documentation\nConsolidate freight where applicable and negotiate best transportation rates\nCommunicate shipment status to Project Management, including shortages and schedule changes\nMaintain communication with suppliers and review export processes\nProcess logistics requests and ensure timely follow-up\nDetermine optimal solutions to issues of damaged, misdirected or lost freight\nManage varied modes of transportation.\nGenerate documents needed to file freight claims\nWork with Project Management and Manufacturing to continually improve shipping transactions\nCommunicate with freight forwarders to verify shipment status and resolve problems\nOversee outbound delivery generation and bill of lading administration\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma\n3+ years of logistics and/or project management experience\n3+ years experience working with Microsoft Office\n6+ months working knowledge of ocean, air and truck transport\nPreferred qualifications:\nAssociates degree or higher\nBackground in international shipping\nBasic math skills\nStrong communication, interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities\nExcellent project management, negotiation and customer service skills\nAbility to work well independently as well as in a team environment\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to work across multiple organizations in a fast paced, smaller company environment\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
