Success in this role is measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.\n\nThe ASM BU develops advanced microcontroller solutions for safety-critical applications, with a primary focus on automotive and industrial markets. Our portfolio includes high-performance MCUs designed for ADAS, body electronics, powertrain control, industrial automation, and motor control applications.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nLead a cross functional team on the execution of releasing new products and ensuring successful return on investment for every development; the team consists of Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Field, and Quality\nWork with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality\nPlan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on budget\nProvide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly and test sites\nDrive and motivate all team members critical to the flawless execution of each product and project\nProvide weekly and monthly updates to senior management on status of projects, explaining the issues facing a project\nInteract with customers in support of project status, key milestones, and deliveries. This includes samples deliveries, special work requests, wafer lot starts and reliability tests\nPerform product reliability and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements\nWork with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures\nMaintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones\nDevelop and implement Qualification plans\nCommunicate weekly to management on status of each project\nEffectively coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritization\nMaintain Galileo system per new product development guidelines\nSuccess will be measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.\n\nTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum requirements:\n\nBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree\n2+ years of engineering experience with project engineering/management experience on highly complex products/projects\nProven leadership capabilities in leading multifaceted global organizations\nSuccessful proven track record in indirect management and influence\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and set realistic plans based on required tasks with available resources\nAbility to effectively coordinate and lead global development teams on projects that include design, silicon fabrications, production test development, qualification and production r& Programs will be driven out of multiple global locations\nAbility to provide clear direction to both internal teams and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly sites\nKnowledge of device packaging and wafer fabrication process\nKnowledge of reliability requirements and tri-temp characterization methodology using statistical analysis\nAbility to work in a team environment and understand cross-functional team dynamics\nAbility to work with global customers to align project schedules with customers' key milestones\nDemonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\nDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\n\nAbout Us\nWhy TI?\nEngineer your future.
