We serve as the electrical and controls engineer of record on water, wastewater, and industrial projects, working alongside prime engineering firms and contractors across Arizona and the Southwest. Our team covers power system design, instrumentation, controls, and systems integration — from study through startup.\nWe're looking for a Power Systems Engineer with a focus on power system studies. Studies are the core of the role, but not the whole of it — you'll also have the chance to move into broader electrical engineering work across our project portfolio as your interests and strengths develop. This is a role with room to grow beyond the study desk for the right engineer.\nWhat you'll do\nGather or coordinate gathering field data on all components required for power system studies.\nPerform load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, and equipment evaluation studies.\nPerform motor starting, transient, and harmonic analysis.\nAnalyze study results and produce reports, including arc flash hazard labels.\nInstall or coordinate install of arc flash hazard labels on site.\nLead study review meetings with clients.\nRecommend mitigations for arc flash, short circuit, and coordination concerns.\nCreate breaker/relay setpoint files and modify breaker/relay settings on site.\nContribute to broader electrical engineering efforts — power system design, project support, and field engineering — as interest and project needs align.\nRequired qualifications\nB.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.\n5 or more years in engineering or field service in an industrial environment.\nEIT or PE preferred.\nProficient in SKM Power*Tools, ETAP, and/or EasyPower.\nAdditional requirements\nAble to pass a pre-employment drug screen.\nValid driver's license and a good driving record, maintained throughout employment.\nAble to work both indoors and outdoors, with close and far depth perception.\nWork is a mix of in-office and on-site projects. Local travel required.\nSigning Bonus\n$5,000 Signing bonus.
