The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with occasional overnight travel to our Fairfax, Virginia, office and other locations in the Washington, DC region. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for planning for and preparing equipment, facilities, test plans and logistical arrangements for hardware and software tests of complex, mission critical SIGINT equipment supporting U.S. military forces. The candidate will work closely with Azure’s engineering team to develop objective, verifiable acceptance test procedures and criteria to provide assurance that the system under test meets requirements and will coordinate those with customer personnel to secure their concurrence. Duties will include procurement, installation, and configuration of test equipment; facility use planning, acceptance testing, analysis of test data, preparation of test reports, root cause determination of improper or inconsistent operation, oversight of testing schedules, reporting on technical progress and schedule projections to the Azure program manager and customer representatives. Additional responsibilities include developing recommendations to accelerate testing and improve test efficiency and may include development of software to automate testing. This position may also involve engineering rotation assignments in independent research and development, production, RF design and development, software engineering, and systems engineering as business needs allow and tasking is available.\nThe candidate will be instrumental in helping Azure meet its business objectives and contract requirements for testing and delivery of complex SIGINT systems on schedule and with the full satisfaction of our customers.\n\nBasic Requirements\nUS citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement\nTop Secret security clearance, due to contract requirement\nBachelor of Science degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience\nMinimum 2 years’ experience with radio frequency (RF) engineering principles and signal processing\nMinimum 4 years’ experience with testing of complex electronic defense systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in successful interaction with personnel representing different components of Department of Defense procurement offices\n2 years’ experience in software development\nProficiency with developing, maintaining, and using spreadsheet data in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data collection, analysis, and tracking\n3 years’ hands on experience using a signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope to test or debug RF analog and digital systems\nExperience developing software code to control test equipment and RF hardware for automated testing\nExcellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills\n\nAzure Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
