This role is designed for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on exposure across firmware, electronics, and product support in a regulated medical-device environment.\nEssential and Other Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nProduct Support Engineering\nInvestigate and resolve design related issues related to the embedded systems in our released product.\nDebug issues spanning firmware, electronics, and system interactions.\nSupport root-cause analysis and contribute to corrective actions.\nHelp update supporting documentation (drawings, test records, traceability) as changes are implemented.\nFirmware & Embedded Development\nContribute to low-level firmware development under guidance from senior engineers.\nAssist with microcontroller bring-up, peripheral drivers, and basic communication interfaces.\nSupport firmware verification activities and test execution.\nHardware & Systems Exposure\nSupport electrical engineering activities such as board bring-up and testing, signal or power investigations, and component-level troubleshooting.\nAssist with light mechanical or packaging tasks when relevant (e.g., fit, interfaces, assembly feedback).\nLearn how firmware, hardware, and mechanics interact as a system.\nDocumentation & Quality Support\nHelp maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation: test results, change support data, and design control documentation.\nLearn and follow medical-device quality practices appropriate to the role.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.\nEntry-level role with up to 2 years of experience (industry or strong academic projects).\nExposure to embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, and basic electronics concepts\nCuriosity, persistence, and comfort working through ambiguity.\nWillingness to ask questions and learn from failures.\nNice-to-Have (Not Required)\nInternship or project experience in regulated products.\nFamiliarity with lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer).\nExposure to manufacturing or test environment\nRequired Physical Requirements:\nRequired to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.\nRequired to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.\nSubject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.\nCompensation:\n$87,500 - $112,500*\nBase pay is one part of your total compensation. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to your experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and market alignment.
