The Sr. Project Controller is seen as an expert with both broad and in-depth knowledge, skills and abilities. The Sr. Project Controller can perform the most complex duties without oversight. The Sr. Project Controller is responsible for project setup, progress reporting, cost control analysis, forecasting, cost, and cash flow forecasting, change management, contingency management, and project closeout.\r\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\r\nPerform and execute project controls functions.\r\nComplete understanding of project budget, schedule and key performance indicators\r\nUnderstanding of self-perform construction, construction processes, cost coding, progress measurement and overall project health monitoring.\r\nLead the establishment of project phase codes and budgets in company accounting system\r\nEnsure project schedule aligns with project scope of work, execution plan/strategy and revenue goals.\r\nMonitor project performance against baseline plan\r\nIdentify when project schedule and budget performance is trending negatively and provide project execution teams with support in performance recovery.\r\nMonitor project cash position and drive timely accounts receivables and accounts payable.\r\nParticipate in project risk assessment and mitigation\r\nPerform, train and mentor all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end deliverables.\r\nFacilitate monthly Work in Progress Reviews with Project Managers and company leaders.\r\nReview monthly project cost to complete forecasts and ensure forecast is aligned with project performance trends and accurately depicts project cost at completion.\r\nMonitor P&L status of all projects.\r\nMonitor and audit project job cost and profitability status.\r\nInternal audit of project accounting practices, including billing, AR follow-up, lien waivers, PO reconciliations, change orders, subcontract management, and contract requirements.\r\nEnsure project accounting teams achieve common goals, collaborate, develop and implement consistent practices across all business units.\r\nWork in collaboration with Business Unit Directors, and Operations teams to achieve common goals.\r\nFacilitate project closeout process and ensure subcontractor and vendor purchase order closeout.\r\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\r\nEducation & Experience Requirements:\r\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Project Controls, Project Management.\r\n5-10 years of Project Control experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation Construction.\r\nAbility to travel to project sites monthly.\r\nExperience with Ecosys and/or Viewpoint software.\r\nProficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera and/or MS Project, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs.\r\nEffective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills.\r\nUnderstands job costing.\r\nAbility to understand prints and contract.\r\nKnows and understands the required federal and state codes.\r\nOffice mobility, Ability to travel up to 100%, and work in challenging weather conditions.\r\nSelf-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.\r\nAble to quickly adjust to changing priorities.\r\nAttention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.\r\nDedication to continual process improvement.\r\nAble to perform duties in a fast-moving environment.\r\nBenefits and Pay:\r\nPaid Company Holidays\r\nPaid Time Off\r\nWe provide paid sick leave as required by Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.\r\nMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution.\r\nProject Bonus eligible\r\nPay Equity: Salary: $109,000 $140,000\r\nPrimoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
