In this role you will get to work closely with a project team to assist with the management of multiple contracts.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nCost Engineering:\nManagement of multiple contract databases and tracking detailed project costs.\nAssisting with forecasting, project billing and revenue recognition.\nCoordinating with clients, other client-side consultants, and internal staff to complete routine and isolated tasks.\nCarry out annual cost savings analysis, change orders, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.\nAssists with the development and management of the cost control systems to provide project and company management with accurate financial information. Facilitates the development of the work breakdown structure (WBS), interfacing with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments as needed.\nPerforms some independent analysis of data stored in the project management and cost control systems. Creates presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost status.\nPlanning and Scheduling:\nImplements and maintains Project Planning and Scheduling.\nUnderstands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.\nDevelops and maintains less complex critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.\nAnalyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule.\nAssesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.\nReports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.\nEarned Value:\nImplements and maintains an Earned Value Management System on the project.\nAnalyzes cost and schedule performance indicators (CPI and SPI).\nPrepares and maintains project forecasts and status updates.\nProvides assessment with corrective action recommendations to management.\nOther Duties:\nFulfill project manager requests for changes on new and existing sites.\nMay provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project control problems\nPerforms other functions associated with this position as appropriate\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Mathematics or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 3+ years of related work experience.\nProficient project controls skills including a working knowledge of various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.\nDetail oriented\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)\nAble to work independently\nBasic financial acumen\nProblem solving\nWillingness to work with a diverse team\nAbility to multitask\nKnowledge of Power BI\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nNone\nThis position is part of our Corporate team.\nFor over 80 years, Parsons Corporation, has shaped the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
