K'iche' Interpreter (Part-Time)

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish andEnglish. KDC’s concept of being a cultural liaison exemplifies this principle by helping bridge the gap between service providers and families.Salary: $36.75/hourSchedule:3-10 hours per week based on family needsWe are looking for people who have:High school diploma or equivalent, requiredBilingual in K'iche'and English, requiredValid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, requiredIn this role, you’ll get to:Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during home visits, center-based visits, group meetings and remote when necessaryTranslate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provisionMaintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirementsKDC values a diverse workforce.
