Servers have a deep knowledge of our menus and deliver guests a friendly, authentic, and enthusiastic experience with perfect service.\nDuties and Responsibilities: The primary job duties and responsibilities of being a Server include but are not limited to the following:\nMust be passionate about food, wine, spirits, and coffee\nMust represent the Tiny Boxwoods Productions culture\nMust learn and be knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus\nAbility to memorize food and beverage notes\nPrepares dining room and patio for service\nAccurately take guests orders\nClear communication skills\nMust ensure all guests are well taken care and needs are met\nProvide outstanding table maintenance for guests throughout their meal\nMust monitor quality control and guest satisfaction\nConfident and professional salesmanship\nAbility to interact socially with guests in a polite and friendly manner\nBe mindful of any time constraints and organize timing of each course delivered from kitchen to multiple tables\nExceptional food handling\nExcellent bottle presentation and beverage service\nAbility to use Point of Service computer system (POS) to enter guests food and beverage orders\nCash handling of guests checks including credit card payments utilizing a POS system\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly\nClose attention to detail\nMust adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policy and regulations\nFollow side work procedures, keeping the restaurant properly cleaned and organized from open to close\nMust always be pressed and tailored, complying to the dress code policy\nPerforms up to the company standards, expectations, and policies\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nTiny Boxwoods offers competitive wages, daily family meals, generous employee discounts and beautiful spaces to work.\nQualifications: Tiny Boxwoods Productions require the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the position of Server:\nTABC Certified\nTexas Food Handlers certificate\nOutstanding guest service skills\nAbility to memorize recipes and beverage lists\nFlexible availability in scheduling\nCapacity to multitask\nAbility to work as part of a team\nWorking Conditions: The incumbent will be working in a restaurant setting, on the floor with guests, in the kitchen and dish area. Potential hazards include but are not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.\nPhysical Requirements: The incumbent is required to stand/walk for long periods of time. Incumbent is regularly required to talk and hear.
