The successful candidate will deeply understand security operations, risk management, and client engagement.\n\nA key aspect of this role is building, improving, and maintaining relationships with the Clients. As the Security Site Supervisor, you are the face of the property. High energy, personable, outstanding communication skills, and security experience leading a team is a must. This role maintains weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel.\n\nA day-to-day on-site schedule is Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, and provides after-hour emergency response as required.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nSupervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site\nManage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support\nEnsure the client site is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property\nBuild, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees\nCoordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client sites to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service\nEnsure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met\nAssure regular communication of issues or programs with the Client\nHandle any escalated security issues or emergencies appropriately\nOther management responsibilities as determined by leadership\nCommunicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates\nDevelop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)\nAssure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)\nAssure communication of policies, company announcements, and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at each site\nMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime\nCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meet EKG Security's corporate training standards\nDevelop/maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific OPM and post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff\nManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists\nTake a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, and provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction\nLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.\nCapability to learn and utilize scheduling, payroll, and billing systems.\nEnforce EKG Security policies as outlined in the handbooks, executive memos, and on the portal\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\nPrevious Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience required\nValid armed security guard license, meeting state regulations.\nMust have 3-5 years of management/operations/supervisory experience.\nAbility to develop and grow customer relationships\nOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills\nExperience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff\nAbility
