About the Role We’re hiring a Primary Residential Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients in our residential program. This role focuses on fostering engagement, supporting recovery, and coordinating care using evidence-based practices and ASAM criteria. What You’ll Do Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions Conduct family sessions and maintain regular family contact Develop and update treatment plans using ASAM criteria Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and case management teams Supervise Student Counselors as assigned Respond to patient safety and crisis situations per protocol What We’re Looking For CADC I certification, minimum Experience in residential SUD treatment, preferred Strong skills in counseling, documentation, and treatment planning Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and ethical standards Trauma-informed, culturally competent, and team-oriented Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Serenity Lane is a Cannabis THC-free workplace) What We Offer Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan Education Assistance Paid Time Off & Sick Pay Wellness Programs ?
