The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and validate CMM inspection programs using software such as Polyworks, PC-DMIS, or similar\nInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and 3D CAD models\nProvide software training and support as necessary for Quality Managers and Engineers\nSupport implementation of scanning technology throughout the organization\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve quality issues\nEnsure inspection processes are aligned with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 or relevant quality standards\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate\n3+ years of experience in CMM programming and operation\nProficiency in CMM software (e.g., Polyworks, PC-DMIS, or others)\nStrong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading\nExperience with ISO/IATF quality systems and documentation\nFamiliarity with a variety of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., punching, laser, forming, machining, stamping)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Keyence, Trackcan, Romer CMMs\nKnowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)\nExperience in a variety of manufacturing industries\nKnowledge of SPC and other statistical quality tools\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nWork Environment:\nPrimarily in a manufacturing and quality lab environment\nMay require standing or sitting for extended periods\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required\nExperience\nRequired\nAutoCAD\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
