Candidates must be open to both shifts and will be assigned one or the other at time of offer.\n\n100% onsite.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nResearches and builds knowledge of company and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.\n\nAssists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.\n\nAssists system owner in preparation of technical communications.\n\nIdentifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.\n\nSupports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.\n\nParticipates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).\n\nAssists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.\n\n12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.\n\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll need\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\n\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.\n\nLevel 4: 9+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n\nExperience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.\n\nHave good communication and cross-group collaboration skills.\n\nHands on problem solving skills.\n\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD +3years, Master+7 years' related work experience).
