The Engineer secures technical and functional wins by addressing requirements and eliminating objections across the sales cycle.\nResponsibilities Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio.\nDesign, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions to address these challenges.\nPresent Salesforce technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security stacks.\nParticipate in product, sales, and technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain necessary knowledge.\nAttain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management.\nRespond effectively to RFIs and RFPs.\nActively participate in a fast‑paced high‑energy market segment and balance multiple projects in a team‑selling environment.\nQualifications Minimum five years experience as a Solution or Sales Engineer for a CRM company or similar technology.\nKnowledge of related applications, relational database, web technology, and cybersecurity.\nSolid oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work as part of a cross‑functional team to solve technical problems.\nB.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.\nMinimum four years of professional experience.\nU.S. citizenship.\nPreferred Qualifications Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Service Cloud, App Builder, AI Specialist, etc.).\nPrevious experience as a solution or sales engineer in the U.S. and/or Canada public sector or federal civilian industry.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce technology.\nFamiliarity with Government Cloud compliance standards and certifications.\nLocation McLean, VA, USA or Washington DC, USA.\nCompensation Typical base salary range: $113,330 – $151,550 annually.
