Come join us and do something wonderful!\nAs a GPU Linux Kernel Mode Driver Software Engineer in the DCAI (Data Center and Artificial Intelligence) software team you will develop and validate the software that enables Intel® GPUs for data center, client and edge products, for AI, compute and gaming. The scope of your work will range from supporting pre-silicon hardware verification, through post silicon driver development and validation, profiling and optimization, to productization and customer support.\nThe ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:\nSelf-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks.\nUnderstanding of Linux Kernel.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nYou must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience or\nMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience.\n3+ years of Linux kernel development and debugging experience.\n3+ years of Open-Source project/community interaction and contribution experience.\n4+ years of experience with Systems programming experience in C.\n3+ years of Git experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDirect contribution to upstream Linux kernel\nExperience in Linux HW driver development - directly interacting with/driving HW.\nExperience with device memory management.\nExperience with GPU command execution.\nExperience with contributions to the Linux DRM subsystem and drivers.\nFamiliarity with all components in a typical Open-Source Graphics/Compute/Media SW stack.\nExperience working in simulation and emulation environments.\n\nInside this Business Group\n\nThe Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) is at the heart of Intel’s transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
