The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of EHS, including safety, document control, leadership, and OHSA. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role and the candidate must be bilingual.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop, implement, and manage the company’s EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.\n\nConduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.\n\nLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\n\nDevelop and deliver safety training programs for all employees.\n\nManage the document control system to ensure all EHS documents are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nLead the EHS team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS practices into daily operations.\n\nManage relationships with regulatory bodies and handle any inquiries or inspections.\n\nContinually monitor and analyze EHS performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.\n\nPromote a positive safety culture within the organization.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.\n\nBilingual (Spanish) is a must.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of OHSA regulations and other relevant safety legislation.\n\nProven experience in document control and managing safety systems.\n\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in at least two languages.\n\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.\n\nExperience in conducting safety audits and inspections.\n\nAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.\n\nAbout Our Client\nOur client is a global, market‑leading organization backed by a multi‑billion‑dollar international parent company, offering the stability of a large enterprise with the agility of a growth‑focused business unit.
