The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues using advanced technical knowledge and skills. The Master Technician will work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\r\nCertification as a Master Automobile Technician or ASE Certifications\r\nAt least 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician\r\nStrong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and tools\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\r\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality\r\nResponsibilities\r\nPerform a wide range of automotive repairs on all makes & models – new & old, with an emphasis on oil changes, mounting tires, and basic repairs.\r\nReview TSB's and other service recommendations and translate to customer needs.\r\nAble to diagnose & honestly assess vehicles and build an estimate of necessary repairs for most makes and models.\r\nMaintain professionalism.\r\nKeep the shop in clean, working order.\r\nComplete full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections.\r\nQuickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service, and identify the cause of defects, trouble-shoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency.\r\nConferring with Reconditioning Manager and Chief Operations Officer to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discussing work to be performed.\r\nAssist other technicians with their skills, providing technical support when needed and monitoring performance and productivity.\r\nMake sure to completely note repairs and concerns through the dealership system.\r\nTest and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.\r\nEnsure that the shop is in excellent condition with regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conduct periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service.\r\nTest-drive vehicles; testing components and systems; using equipment such as compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nAbility to lift and carry heavy items\r\nAbility to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods\r\nManual dexterity to use tools and equipment\r\nGood vision and hand-eye coordination\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nWork in a fast-paced automotive repair shop environment\r\nExposure to loud noises, fumes, and various weather conditions\r\nMay need to work weekends or evenings as needed\r\nSalary\r\nCompetitive compensation package, up to $120,000+ (based on experience)\r\nUp to $10,000 signing bonus (based on experience)\r\nHealth Insurance\r\nGrowth potential\r\nStrong team positive company culture\r\nAre you SET for success?\r\nClearShift operates under the core values of Servanthood, Excellence, Transparency.\r\nWhat makes our team different?
