Learn more at flexera.com\nThe Desktop Systems Engineer ensures global standardization of IT desktop design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of programs supporting company business processes and operations. The Desktop Support Engineer analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems. This role will also plan and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated desktop systems.\nEnsure effective end user device support of laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and peripherals;\nEstablish global image;\nDevelop processes to efficiently and accurately set up hardware for new hires and replacement equipment;\nTroubleshoot high-level hardware and software applications in a Microsoft Windows environment\nResponsibilities:\nEnsuring global AD standards;\nMicrosoft Intune/Autopilot engineering as we deploy applications in a worldwide environment\nDefine global standards for client backups,\nManage desktop encryption standards;\nEnforce desktop hardware and software standards\nMaintain standard operating systems, endpoint protection, and hardware destruction standards;\nManage all ITSM solutions,\nDrive adoption of MDM, application packaging, vulnerability management, software distribution, and remote desktop management;\nEnsure software compliance.\nEstablish a global standard for training environments.\nRequired Experience & Skills:\nBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years related experience;\nSolid familiarity with conditional access\nSolid familiarity with PowerShell\nWorking knowledge of networking topologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP\nKnowledge around RDS, Group Policy, Windows Firewall, MS Defender, LAPS\nExperience working in both a cloud native and hybrid Active Directory environments\nIn depth experience with Intune, Autopilot, M365, Entra required\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills;\nAbility to work independently and with strong time management skills;\nMust be customer-service oriented;\nMaintain consistent work hours;\nExperience with support of a global environment preferred;\nSolid problem solving and analytical skills;\nGood communication skills (written and verbal);\nSelf-starter who continually develops and broadens their skill set;\nDemonstrates technical proficiency through the pursuit and achievement of industry certifications;\nFlexibility and willingness to be on-call and available, including weekends, and participate in a team on-call rotation;\nWorks with other IT and software development teams to ensure technology process and support integration;\nOrganization and documentation skills;\nPrevious experience with Beyond Trust Privilege Manager a plus\nExperience with Flexera SVM and FNMS a plus\n#LI-Hybrid\n#LI-DL1\n#IT\nFlexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
