In this role, you will analyze shipment profiles, engineer customer-specific pricing models, and identify network consolidation opportunities that deliver maximum shipper savings and optimal profitability. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and Account Management teams to model transportation network scenarios and support seamless customer onboarding across our managed transportation and 4PL solutions.\r\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\r\nPricing Models: Develop and maintain pricing models for PTL, Shared Truckload, and LTL-to-TL conversions.\r\nData Analysis: Evaluate shipment profile data (weight, cube, linear feet, density) and routing patterns to build custom customer rate structures.\r\nFinancial Impact: Calculate expected savings, margin, and profitability for consolidation opportunities; support recurring customer pricing reviews.\r\nNetwork Optimization\r\nConsolidation Strategy: Identify opportunities to merge multiple LTL shipments into PTL or FTL solutions.\r\nNetwork Engineering: Analyze network routing, pooling strategies, carrier capacity, and lane economics to guide pricing.\r\nSystem Rules: Help develop business rules for routing guides and optimization engines.\r\nCustomer & Commercial Support\r\nRFP & Sales Partnership: Partner with Sales on RFPs to deliver pricing proposals, business cases, and savings analyses.\r\nImplementation & Delivery: Validate pricing and benchmarking during customer onboarding and present findings to key stakeholders.\r\nReporting & Analytics\r\nPerformance Dashboards: Build and monitor dashboards tracking core metrics (cost per shipment, consolidation rate, savings realization, revenue/NETR, and margins).\r\nContinuous Improvement: Identify performance trends to recommend continuous optimization opportunities.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.\r\n3+ years of transportation pricing, logistics analytics, supply chain engineering, or freight brokerage experience.\r\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.\r\nExperience analyzing transportation costs, carrier pricing, and freight procurement strategies.\r\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.\r\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with LTL, Truckload, Partial Truckload, Pool Distribution, or Consolidation Networks.\r\nExperience with transportation management systems (TMS) and business intelligence tools.\r\nKnowledge of transportation pricing methodologies, benchmarking, and procurement.\r\nSQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platform experience.\r\nExperience in managed transportation, 4PL, or freight optimization environments.\r\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\r\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
