This role focuses on a defined project aimed at improving our security capabilities, tooling, and process across the organization.MathWorks nurtures growth, appreciates inclusivity, encourages initiative, values teamwork, shares success, and rewards excellence.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Operations & Engineering intern will:Help lead and contribute to a security operations project with clear requirements and outcomes.Collaborate with Security Operations and Engineering team members on tooling and automation improvements.Research and evaluate security technologies, techniques, and ways to improve processes.Document findings and present future project recommendations to stakeholders.Minimum QualificationsVisa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's level degree.Additional QualificationsExperience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting language.Experience with querying large data sets for security relevant information.Basic networking, sysinternals knowledge.
