Responsibilities include coordinating food service activities, monthly reporting, food ordering, participant services, dining center operations, catering, quality improvement, and sanitation compliance, while ensuring all meals meet Older Americans Act standards. Reporting to the Senior Services Program Director, the Supervisor collaborates with staff and community partners, oversees the Home Delivery Coordinator, and promotes teamwork, accountability, and compliance. This on-site position is not eligible for remote work.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Food Service Management, business administration, personnel or human resources management, or Gerontology.\n\nMinimum two (2) years of experience with increasing responsibility and an emphasis on management liability, preferred.\n\nHas had food service management training through college classes or Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) Food Handler in-service training.\n\nCertified Food Protection Manager has taken or will take the ServSafe or equivalent class and has passed the exam within sixty (60) days of employment.\n\nExcellent communication skills.\n\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate options and make effective program decisions.\n\nAbility to represent MAOF skillfully and professionally.\n\nKnowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program regulations.\n\nProficiency in basic math, accurate data entry, and strong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong organizational and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse staff team.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer applications.\n\nFlexibility and adaptability to changing program needs and priorities.\n\nCultural sensitivity and ability to effectively engage with diverse populations.\n\nAbility to work cooperatively, maintain diplomatic working relationships, and complete projects under tight deadlines with competing priorities.\n\nThis position requires driving.
