The MFI location in Lenox produces primarily pre-cooked egg patties. With its friendly atmosphere, safe environment, and progressive spirit, Lenox is a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family.\nResponsibilities POSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Production Supervisor oversees a team responsible for completing production and sanitation tasks. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing food products ensuring adherence to safety, quality, quantity specifications, and cost.\nKey skills include people management, operational and sanitation knowledge, training ability, developing expectations, driving results with data, and follow-through.\nThe Production Supervisor ensures compliance with all company and regulatory processes, including but not limited to Safety, Food Safety, Human Resources, and job-specific requirements. They work to continuously improve production and sanitation best practices through training, standards development, data analysis, escalations, and reporting.\nLeads team members to support safety, food safety, operations, sanitation, and personnel development. Ensures a safe and healthy workplace.\nMaintains management informed about operational, quality, safety issues, employee concerns, and production cost control.\nAdheres to safe work practices, GMPs, and maintains product quality. Reports any conditions affecting food safety, quality, or personnel safety to management.\nAccountable for a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks\nProduces the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost consistent with good manufacturing practices.\nRecognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems to minimize their impact on operations.\nRequests and directs services of maintenance, sanitation, and other personnel as necessary to achieve the desired level and quality of production, sanitation, safety and warehouse services.\nResponsible for ingredient, packaging usage, and all other department costs.\nEncourages suggestions from employees to improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of production.\nParticipates on plant safety team.\nEnsures regulatory compliance.\nCooperates with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship always exists.\nEnforces company policies in a fair and consistent manner.\nMaintains consistent communications and participates in and leads meetings as required.\nLeads and/or participates in continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelops self and team members' skill sets to continuously improve work standards and performance.\nDrives individual accountability and ownership of results.
