Job DescriptionJob TitleDatabase DeveloperJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Database Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise‑scale data warehouse and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, ETL development, batch processing, and build/release automation, along with hands‑on experience working in Unix-based environments. This role plays a critical part in delivering reliable, high‑quality data for reporting, analytics, and downstream systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain data warehouse and data integration solutionsDevelop and optimize SQL code for data transformation, loading, and reportingWork with relational and non‑relational databases including MS SQL Server, Sybase, and MongoDBDesign, develop, and support ETL processes using IBM DataStageImplement and manage batch processing and job scheduling using Control‑MDevelop and maintain Unix and Perl scripts to automate data workflows and operational tasksSupport production data loads, monitor jobs, and troubleshoot data pipeline failuresParticipate in Build & Release Management, enhancing CI/CD pipelines using:BuildMasterCloudBees / JenkinsUrbanCode Deploy (UCD)Ensure data quality, performance, security, and reliability across all data processing layersCollaborate with BI, application, QA, and operations teams to support enterprise data needsCreate and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooksRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in SQL and Data IntegrationHands‑on experience with database platforms:MS SQL ServerSybaseMongoDBProven expertise in IBM DataStage ETL developmentExperience with Build & Release Management and CI/CD pipelines:BuildMasterCloudBees / JenkinsUrbanCode Deploy (UCD)Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environmentsExperience writing and maintaining Perl scriptsSolid experience with Control‑M scheduling and batch processingExcellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsPreferred / Nice‑to‑Have SkillsExperience with enterprise data warehouse architecturesExposure to data governance, data quality, and metadata managementFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologiesExperience supporting high‑volume, mission‑critical data systemsSoft Skills & Work StyleStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑support environmentDetail‑oriented with a strong ownership mindsetEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse or ETL development rolesQualificationsInformation Technology, Computer ScienceRange Of Year Experience-Min Year2Range Of Year Experience-Max Year7
