With locations in California, Ohio, and Texas, we produce top-quality products for the demanding requirements of the cosmetics, personal health care, beverage, food, and dietary supplements markets.\n\nWe are currently seeking a Label Rewind Operator to operate a CEI 13\" high-speed rewinding equipment and ensure finished labels meet customer quality specifications.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSet up and operate high-speed slitter/rewind machines according to customer specifications and job tickets\nCut, rewind, and count labels to precise quantities per production orders\nInspect labels during rewinding to identify defects such as misprints, wrinkles, or out-of-register printing\nRemove defective labels and splice rolls as needed\nComplete core labels, carton labels, and required production documentation\nEnsure labels are properly boxed and identified without mixing products\nFollow all SOPs, work instructions, and customer specifications\nCommunicate quality issues to press operators and supervisors\nMaintain a clean and organized work area and equipment\nAccurately use the computer system to generate carton and order identification labels\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\n1–3 years of experience operating rewind, slitter, finishing, or similar converting equipment preferred\nLabel printing or flexible packaging experience strongly preferred\nAbility to read and follow job jackets, production orders, and work instructions\nStrong attention to detail and quality\nMechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to stand for extended periods\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally\nFrequent bending, reaching, and handling materials\nAbility to distinguish color variations and inspect print quality\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise\n\nBenefits\n\n$50,000 employer-paid Life Insurance\nMedical plans through Kaiser and Blue Shield (PPO & HMO)\nDental and Vision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nAccident, Hospital Indemnity, Long Term Disability, and Critical Illness insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n401(k) with company match after 90 days\nVacation, Sick, and Holiday Pay\nBenefits begin on the first of the month following hire\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n\nImprimus Labels and Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions based on merit and business needs.
