The primary role is to assist in the installation of electrical equipment, including copper bus, breakers, and other major components. This role requires the use of hand tools and the willingness to learn and operate various equipment throughout the shop.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCultural Representation:\nUphold and represent the values and culture of Spike Electric Controls, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.\nEncourage team collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning.\nEquipment Installation Assistance:\nSupport the assembly team in installing electrical components such as copper bus bars, breakers, and other equipment.\nFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures for installation tasks.\nTool and Equipment Operation:\nUtilize hand tools (screwdrivers, hand drills, wrenches) and other equipment safely and effectively.\nLearn to operate additional shop equipment under guidance.\nQuality Assurance:\nPerform basic quality checks on assembled components.\nReport any issues or discrepancies to the Electrical Assembler Lead.\nWorkplace Safety and Maintenance:\nAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace.\nTeam Collaboration:\nWork collaboratively with the assembly team to meet production goals.\nAssist team members as needed to facilitate efficient workflow.\nQualifications:\nBasic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical aptitude.\nAbility to follow instructions and work in a team environment.\nCapable of performing physical tasks and lifting up to 30 pounds.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious experience in electrical assembly is a plus, but not required.\nEstablish a record of good attendance, which shows strong dependability.\nReporting Structure:\nReports directly to the Electrical Assembler Lead.\nPay Band:\nElectrical Assembler Level 1\nNote: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
