It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.\nPosition Overview:\nMaintains control of all inventory items received, picked, stocked, and shipped\nEssential Functions:\nMonitor inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to supervisor or manager\nMaintain supplies shelving, chemical cabinets, and racking\nChemical management to include replenishment, pick and FIFO\nComplete Daily Cycle Count tasks; create count sheets and audit discrepancies\nMaterial logistics between multiple locations; delivery and pick-up\nVerifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment including international and hazmat\nAffixes shipping labels on packed cartons\nAssembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled container\nResolve inventory and work order discrepancies\nJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nHazmat and International Shipping experience preferred\nAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines\nExcellent organization skills with strong attention to detail\nExcellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required\nExcellent communication, both written and verbal\nWork independently and possess a high level of self-motivation\nMust be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)\nProficient with ERP/MRP Systems\nEducation, Certifications, and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n5+ years of forklift experience\n5+ years in a production environment\nValid driver’s license required\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nWorking conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs.\nAll employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
