This work maybe performed in Arlington, VA, (OR) Herndon, VA (OR) Jessup, MD depending on the location that works best for the candidate.\nQualifications:\nActive TS/SCI W/ Polygraph is required\nMinimum of 7+ years of experience in software development and related engineering experience\nDesign and develop backend services and APIs in Rust for a cloud-based platform that manages fleet lifecycle operations including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, firmware updates, and policy enforcement across multiple high assurance devices.\nArchitect and implement authentication and authorization frameworks for secure device-to-cloud communication.\nDemonstrate advanced networking expertise including TCP/IP protocols, routing, subnetting, VPN architectures, load balancing strategies, DNS management, and network security controls such as firewalls, security groups, and network segmentation for secure cloud and on-premises environments.\nBuild highly available, scalable service components for telemetry ingestion, health monitoring, configuration distribution, and alerting across a distributed device fleet.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of cloud-to-device interactions.\nFamiliarity with AWS networking services, tools, infrastructure as code and CDK development\nExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud architectures with a strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, service integration, and operational best practices.\nExperience with Rust application development\nExperience with computer and memory optimized application development\nSalary Range: USD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.\n\nThe Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
