Ensure Marle Elite’s requirements are met while meeting the requirements of the quality policy and quality objectives of Marle’s.\n\nEssential Job Functions:\nProgram, set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc. that create processes capable of generating stable quality and cycle times.\nUnderstand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, customer specifications, etc.\nTranslate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.\nCalculate and set controls to regulate machining factors and automated controls.\nPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.\nPrepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.\nSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.\nInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.\nProvide recommendations for Preventive Maintenance of the machinery to ensure proper functionality and coolant levels and avoid unnecessary catastrophic failure.\nComplete all documents associated with production.\nProvide training and oversight of machinists to prevent damage, through carelessness, to the equipment or process used in the performance of the job.\nFollow Marle’s safety and environmental procedures.\nFollow written and verbal directions from manager and company officers.\nWork with all departments to aid as necessary.\nPerform non-routine tasks assigned by manager and/or company officers.\nQualification Requirements:\nAssociate’s degree or trade course certificate from a two-year college or technical school;\n3+ years of work experience as a machinist with programming responsibilities;\nequivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.\nPhysical Skills: Ability to use standard measuring and testing devices such as, but not limited to: calipers, micrometer, height gage, pin gage, radius gage, optical comparator, depth micrometer, etc. Ability to use hand tools such as, but not limited to wrenches, screwdriver, Allen wrench, etc.\nTrade Knowledge: Ability to read complicated drawings and specifications.\nOther Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Mastercam or SolidWorks.
