Work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and overall adequacy and accuracy.ImpactContributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.LiaisonFrequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.Job DutiesInstall, terminate, and troubleshoot CAT6 and single‐mode fiber across the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence Campus Area Network (iCAN).Install conduit, network cabinets, and cable termination equipment (patch‐panels, network drops).Ability to lift 50 pounds and use power tools (drills, saws) as necessary.Must be self‐motivated and have the ability to complete tasks within scheduled project timelines.Must have a valid driver's license.Required QualificationsTop‐Secret/SCI Clearance.Nice to Have QualificationsFamiliarity with fiber fusion‐splicing and CAT6 termination is a plus, but training can be provided.Security+ Certification.Working at EdgesourceAs an ISO 9001:2015 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised small business, Edgesource specializes in providing a variety of technical solutions to include software development, database services, enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and management support.
