We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. You will use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.\nPerforms implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems.\nApplies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise.\nDevelops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.\nConcentrates on building and maintaining the technology needed to power the components which enable the user-facing side of enterprise applications databases, conceptualizing and implementing data storage solutions, running performance testing and benchmarking, and optimizing data performance.\nQualifications:\nExperience working with Software Design Patterns\nExperience or willingness to learn working with Software Development UML Diagrams\nFamiliarity with data transformation, SIPR porting of data and programs, and SIPR-domain programming\nPreferably has experience with ADVANA, Agile, Jira, and\nPython Unit Testing (reduced onboarding/integration time)\nPreferably has experience and desire to develop Machine Learning programs to support future analytics development\n8+ yrs of Python experience\n8+ yrs working with Object Oriented Programming\n5+ yrs of SQL experience\n3+ yrs of Databricks experience\n3+ yrs of Pyspark/Pandas API on Spark (formally known as Koalas)\nClearance Statement: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
