We connect you with qualified professionals who can nurture and grow other areas of your business.ResponsibilitiesPlan and oversee the auditing process through to completionAllocate responsibilities to supervise and train junior and staff auditorsReview team members work for accuracy and compliancePerform effective risk and control assessmentsComplete audits on time and submit reports to audit managersPresent audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiencyCoordinate and schedule auditsResearch technical mattersBe extremely organized and manage various aspects of an engagementSome minor traveling will be required.Desired SkillsProven experience as an auditor with over 5+ years of experience in public accountingIn-depth understanding of auditing and control practicesUpdated knowledge of applicable laws and regulationsOrganizational and leadership abilitiesGood oral and written communication skillsGood time management and organizational skillsWorks well in a team as well as individuallyProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerpointIndependent ThinkerCommunication/People skillsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsAttention to detailWe are also looking for someone with integrity that is reliable and can fit into our excellent cultureQualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting; 3.0 or higher GPA in major preferredWell-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) auditingCPA (not required but a plus)
