Our Tailors work closely with Store Management and Sales Assistants to provide a positive, unique, fun shopping experience for our customers. The role of a tailor is primarily ensuring the proper fit, marking, altering, and pressing of garments.Your typical day includes:To adjust suits, coats, shirts and trousers. Included, but not limited to:Shorten/lengthen sleevesTaper sides of garmentsLower collarsTake in/out trouser waistShorten/lengthen trousersTaper trouser thighs and foot widthsEnsure proper sizing of clientsMaintaining a clean and neat tailor shopThis job might be for you if you have:Previous experience in alterationsThorough knowledge of basic machines used in alterationsProficient in sewing and making garmentsKeen sense of colour perception and fabric typesGood planning and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsProfessional appearance and mannerYour success will be measured by:The feedback and reviews of our customers The quality of alterations Efficiency and delivery of tailored itemsWhat do you get in return?Competitive base salary40% discount on all Suitsupply productsOpportunity to build a career with one of the fastest growing companies in fashionSalary Range: $20 - $30 hourly
