If you are looking to join a great organization and a chance to become a part of our growing team, this may be the opportunity for you!Position Summary:As a member of Service Wire's senior leadership team, the VP - IT contributes to Service Wire's business process development, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information and technology in Service Wire's customer-focused business model, business process re-engineering, and support for competitive advantage. The role involves collaborating with every department and leading a multi-site team towards innovation and service. Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:Direct the IT department to foster business-oriented culture and mindset focusing on customer engagement and efficiencies of customer project executionBuild and maintain relationships at every level of the organization to develop a clear understanding of business needsEnsure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and respond with agility to dynamically affect fast-changing business prioritiesUse influencing and negotiation skills to create synergies across Service Wire to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutionsProvide strategic as well as tactical oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill the needs of the business, including enterprise architecture management, application management, security and risk management, and infrastructure and operations support managementDevelop and maintain an IT workforce and outside resources with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills, costs and competencies that balance the needs between growing agility required to achieve business objectives and ensure the core IT functions are reliable, secure and efficientOversee all technology operations and projects in alignment with organizational goalsManage ongoing compliance needs related to IT and lead efforts to improve IT processesDevise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper managementAnalyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needsRecommend and facilitate purchase of efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software solutions to manage business activitiesEvaluate new technologies for competitive advantageInspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiencyIdentify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper managementAssist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contractsOther tasks as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field requiredMaster's Degree in Technology Management, Business or relevant field preferred5+ years' experience leading an IT team; industrial experience a plusBusiness acumen and negotiation skills in dealing with vendors, suppliers and contractorsCollaboration experience and success with a variety of different stakeholdersGrowth orientation and ability to build a feedback-rich and performance-oriented culture within the teamExperience in project management within application development and infrastructure timing roll-outComplex Problem SolvingKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resourceExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication abilitiesAbility to travel up to 25% of the time; in-office role when not traveling for business Reports To:Vice President/CFOThe perks of joining our Team Comprehensive Insurance Options Competitive medical coverage with a variety of plan choicesProgressive PTO & Paid Holidays Tenure-based paid time off pluseight paid holidaysannually401(k) with Company Match + Profit Sharing Matching 5% on 6% of employee contributions and annual profit-sharing contributionsCareer Growth & Learning Support Tuition reimbursement and employee assistance programsTuition reimbursement up to $15,000 annually to support your continued education and career growthSee all benefits we offerhere
