This role focuses primarily on backend services, APIs, databases, and system architecture while collaborating with frontend and product teams. The ideal candidate has strong Node.js and PostgreSQL experience, clear communication skills, and experience owning features end to end in a remote environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.jsDevelop and scale RESTful APIs and backend systemsDesign and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data modelsEnsure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend servicesImplement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and session based approachesIntegrate third party APIs and external servicesSupport CI CD pipelines and cloud deployments in collaboration with DevOpsTroubleshoot and resolve production issuesCollaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver backend solutionsDocument technical decisions and communicate progress in writingRequirements7 plus years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a backend focusStrong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQLExperience building and maintaining scalable backend systemsStrong understanding of REST APIs and backend architectureExperience with cloud platforms and CI CD pipelines.
