This job is essential to keeping projects running efficiently and without delays.\nDuties\nSafely operate a 3/4-ton truck and pull dump and material trailers\nLoad, transport, and deliver materials to job sites across Southeast Wisconsin\nPick up supplies, return unused materials, and dispose of debris when required\nBack trailers into tight areas and active job sites with accuracy\nLift and move heavy materials during loading and unloading\nKeep company vehicles, trailers, and equipment clean and organized\nPerform basic daily vehicle checks including fluids, tires, and lights\nReport any mechanical issues immediately\nCommunicate clearly with project managers and site leads about delivery timing\nMaintain simple delivery logs, mileage tracking, and fuel records\nSupport occasional warehouse runs or special deliveries as needed\nFollow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations\nReceiving and Inventory Control\nReceive deliveries at the shop or jobsite and verify quantities and condition against packing slips.\nDocument shortages, damage, or incorrect shipments and resolve with vendors promptly.\nLabel, store, and organize materials in the shop or yard to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient layout.\nMaintain accurate inventory counts and reorder stock items before they run low.\nRequirements\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required)\nExperience driving trucks with trailers, including backing and maneuvering\nAble to lift 50–80 lbs consistently\nReliable, punctual, and able to stay on task without supervision\nStrong work ethic and attention to detail\nComfortable working on active construction sites\nBasic understanding of vehicle care and maintenance\nAble to use a phone or tablet for communication and documentation\nPrevious experience in construction, roofing, or material handling is a plus\nThis role is a key part of our field operations.
