The warehouse associate is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance while ensuring to meet all safety protocols.\nPosition Responsibilities may include;\nSafely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks\nEnsure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations\nMaintain Inventory and Prepare Cycle Counts\nComplete Will Calls\nResponsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries\nProper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift\nMaintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures including pre and post shift forklift inspections. Alert manager of any concerns immediately.\nAssist Customers and CSRs as needed\nFollow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies\nPerform additional tasks as required\nNature & Scope:\nWorks within well-defined instructions\nUses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks\nWork is closely supervised\nKnowledge & Skills\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and surroundings\nBasic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders\nAbility to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) products\nAbility to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse\nAbility to pass Prove It and driving test\nMust be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and surroundings\nBasic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders\nAbility to understand and follow work instructions, policies and procedures\nBe dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customers\nAbility to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled\nExperience\n1 plus years of warehouse experience\n1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferred.\nEducation/Certification:\nHigh School diploma or GED\nMust have Valid driver’s license\nPeople Management: No\nPhysical Requirements / Work Environment: Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or lift lighter items repetitively or perform 2 man lifts for heavier items.
