This role extends to application integration and reporting/analytics tools, requiring seamless collaboration with key users, business analysts, and IT teams throughout the software development life cycle as you contribute to enhancing our technological ecosystem and driving innovation forward.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and Development:\n\nDesign, develop, configure, integrate, test, and maintain enhancements and features across various applications, integration solutions, and reporting/analytics tools.\nEnsure seamless integration of delivered solutions into the existing system architecture, collaborating closely with business analysts to meet application-level requirements.\nCreate and enhance extension objects with coding to trigger actions/automations on events within the ERP system.\nDevelop and maintain external applications through API/WebService integration technology (REST/SOAP)\nPrepare comprehensive technical reports, instructional manuals, and documentation for custom program development.\nTroubleshooting and Support:\n\nTroubleshoot application incidents and performance anomalies, providing timely support to users as needed.\nMonitor nightly batch processes to guarantee successful completion and promptly address any failures.\nAnalyze and optimize hardware and software performance in collaboration with the infrastructure team.\nConsultation and Project Management:\n\nServe as an internal consultant to the user community to analyze and design new systems and programs.\nOccasionally manage projects, ensuring stakeholder collaboration and diligently monitoring project activities for accuracy and completion.\nBest Practices and Compliance:\n\nAdhere to established software development life cycle processes to deliver high-quality software products.\nStay abreast of industry practices and leverage the best available tools and techniques for efficient and maintainable software development.\nEnsure compliance with information security standards and utilize code scanning analysis tools as necessary.\nQualifications & Skills\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum of two years of development experience with ERP systems, integration, and reporting/analytics.\nBusiness process knowledge and configuration experience in Logistics, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance modules of ERP systems.\nProficiency in C#, C++, SQL, webservices, Odata, and database management software.\nSAP ByDesign experience a plus.\nFamiliarity with version control software such as GIT and SVN.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to thrive in a small IT team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to diverse assignments.\nEthical conduct, consistency, and trustworthiness in interactions with coworkers and stakeholders.\nStrong dedication, energy, and desire to achieve.\nRapid acquisition of understanding and absorption of new information.\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.\nCreativity and innovation in approaching challenges.\nAdditional Requirements\n\nExperience or willingness to work in a small IT team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to varied assignments.\nCommitment to ethical conduct, consistency, and earning the trust of colleagues.\nStrong dedication, energy, and a proactive, creative, and innovative approach to problem-solving\nIntellectual curiosity and a passion for learning and staying abreast of industry trends and technologies.\nLocation\nThis full-time position is based at our Skidaway Island Corporate Headquarters in Savannah, Georgia, with opportunities for flexible working hours, Monday through Friday.
