Supports project engineers and/or superintendents to lead trade contractors, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings.\nParticipates in the supervision of self-perform scopes, including resolving crew sizes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs).\nMentors and coaches field engineers and students/interns).\nIdentifies issues on-site or in defined work scopes.\nCoordinates third-party inspections and site reviews.\nParticipates in crafting, implementing, and supervising quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).\nDevelop and maintains positive relationships focusing on all partners.\nQualifications\nAssociates or bachelor’s degree in a related field: construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.\n0 to 8-12 months of varied experience as field engineer/coordinator preferred; time acquired during internships in the field may count as experience.\nKnowledge of construction specifications, and methods and procedures (e.g., formwork methodologies, self-perform work, subcontracted work scopes, temporary work, equipment, and scheduling techniques).\nUnderstands and applies construction principles to problem solve.\nEffective verbal and written communication with supervisors and subcontractors, and reports.\nProven track record to work in a fast-paced environment.\nWrites clear technical communication to trade contractors, designers and inspectors.\nDevelops and maintains effective partner relationships.\nProficient Microsoft Office Suite and construction related software.\nPCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
