Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.\n\nASSEMBLER / SEQUENCER 2ND SHIFT\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\nAssembler or Sequencer position will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment/station directly to his/her direct supervisor.\n\nAn assembler or sequencer position can include repetitive lifting, twisting and bending, in a factory setting. This opportunity will provide the candidate hands-on, day-to-day technical interaction within automotive manufacturing.\n\n2nd Shift: Monday Through Friday 2:30PM to 12:00AM\n\nStarting Pay: $15.50/hr\n\n2nd Shift premium: $0.50/hr\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAssemble goods on production lines following applicable work instructions;\nCarry out basic quality and testing checks;\nFollow Company’s philosophies and values at all times;\nMaintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping in work areas and equipment;\nAdhere to safe work practices at all times;\nMonitor the production process and be part of the teamwork culture assisting the team in order to achieving their production goals;\nEnsure that all production and quality systems are followed at all times;\nEnsure that information is communicated and acted upon allowing the team to make appropriate decisions to focus on necessary improvements;\nHelp the team meet customer expectations;\nFeed raw materials into production machinery;\nStore goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse;\nUse lifting equipment to fulfill orders;\nPack goods to be shipped;\nAll other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nExperience: 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus\nTRAVEL:\n\nTravel Required: No\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\n\nAble to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment;\nAbility to effectively interact with people;\nAble to work on feet for extended periods of time;\nBe able to work any shift;\nBe able to work weekends when volunteered for or required;\nBe highly motivated and have an interest in manufacturing;\nHave a history of safe work practices;\nBe a team player, who is flexible and easily adapts to change, and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations.
